One of the realities of a project like Flavor52 is that not every part of the plan arrives on the same schedule. Our Season Pass holders were originally supposed to receive their commemorative Season 1 Throwback mug with their very first shipment. That was the plan from the beginning.  The packaging arrived on time.  The coffee production was on time. The shipping scheduling was on time. The mugs were not.

Before that first shipment, we had a choice to make. Delay the entire Flavor52 launch until everything was perfect, or keep the mission on schedule and send the mugs separately with the second shipment. We didn't have to think long. 

One of the commitments we made to ourselves before this project began was that a new flavor would release: Every. Single. Monday for 52 consecutive weeks. That promise became the priority, even when it meant part of the experience had to catch up. The mugs will be included with the second shipment to all VIP & Season Pass holders. Not every challenge during Flavor52 will involve creating great coffee. Some will involve container deliveries of coffee from Brazil, freight schedules, production timelines, flavor mishaps and the thousand other small details that customers rarely see. Those challenges are part of the Flavor52 story too.
